Washdown
There is a washdown hose provided on the Travellift ramp next to the boat ramp. Please move your boat here to washdown.
Responsibility
The ramp is hard concrete, installed at a slope and is slippery below
the tide line. Great care should be used by all involved in the launch
and recovery of a boat. The marina is not responsible for any
damage done to the boat, trailer, tow vehicle, or injury to launching
personnel due to ramp use. Boat owners should use common
sense and judge the tides to determine if the ramp is safe for their
boat.
Ramp Work complete (in 2008)
The old broken up boat ramp has been removed and new concrete poured in its place to the low-low water level.
Two additional concrete sections were pre-cast and installed below the low-low water level to extend the ramp an additional 12'
The result is a ramp which is solid, with no great drop offs and extends about 6' beyond the old ramp.
Boats to about 25' can use the ramp during all normal tides.
Boats over 25' should use the ramp at higher tide times only.
The END OF THE RAMP is at the second piling out.
Boats using the ramp should stay in the middle of the concrete, not favoring either side for the best launch and recovery
