We
chose Coastal Technology's
Chesapeake Bay Marine Pumpout System because of its reliability and
simplicity. The dockside station is small and the actual pumping station,
located over 200 feet away in a shoreside building, is highly effective
in removing effluent. There are virtually no moving parts in the weather
and it is silent to the user.
The pumpout Station was installed by James Hardy Inc. Reedville,
VA. Shown is the remote station with its Porta-potty dump station on the
right.

Trenching for the discharge line
Line hookup at the shore station. Black Poly line is suction from
the pier. White PVC (to be buried) is discharge to septic system. Grey
is control system conduit
This is the
final installation of the vacuum tank. It is over 200 feet from the dockside
control stand, yet draws a 20" vacuum in less than a minute! When
full, it discharges automatically to the Marina septic system.
Our
first actual Pump-out! - on the "Lady Hawke." Owners Bob and
Mary Berry were very pleased with the system - Quiet and effective, it
pumped their tank in less than 5 minutes!
